Terms of Service

For tours in Kyoto, Osaka, without accommodation

  1. Customers should know that the schedule may be altered, canceled, or interrupted due to weather conditions, trail congestion, official regulations, and ensuring customer and guide safety. JIN is not responsible for these events beyond our control.
  2. When issues arise for which JIN is responsible and result in the cancellation of the tour, a full 100% refund of the fee will be provided. Alternatively, result in the event of itinerary changes, we will refund the amount equivalent to the portion that has been altered, excluding any expenses incurred after the modification.
  3.  When a reservation is canceled for a guest’s reason, the following cancellation charge will be assessed at the following rates. The date is calculated from the departure date of the tour.
    – 7 days or more prior to the tour :  Full refund
    – 3 to 6 days prior to the tour : 20%
    – 5 to 2 days prior to the tour : 50%
    – 0 to 1 day prior to the tour : Non-refundable
  4. If individual tours have different cancellation conditions or are sold by third party agents, those will prevail.

For tours in Mt. Fuji

  1. Customers should know that the schedule may be altered, canceled, or interrupted due to weather conditions, trail congestion, official regulations, and ensuring customer and guide safety. Additionally, please remember that weather conditions may impact the visibility of the sunrise. JIN is not responsible for these events beyond our control.
  2. On several days during the season when it’s impossible to begin the ascent from the 5th station due to extreme weather conditions like typhoons, a full 100% fee refund will be offered.
  3.  When issues arise for which JIN is responsible and result in the cancellation of the tour, a full 100% refund of the fee will be provided.
    Alternatively, result in the event of itinerary changes, we will refund the amount equivalent to the portion that has been altered, excluding any expenses incurred after the modification.
  4. When a reservation is canceled for a
    guest’s reason, the following cancellation charge will be assessed at
    the following rates. The date is calculated from the departure date of
    the tour.
    – A non-refundable deposit of 20,000 JPY per person is always required.
    – 30days to 8 days before the tour: A cancellation fee of either 20% of the
    total tour price or a 20,000 JPY deposit per person, whichever is
    higher, will apply.
    – 7 days to 3 days before the tour: 50% cancellation fee.
    – 2 days before or after the tour: 100% cancellation fee.
  5. If individual tours have different cancellation conditions or are sold by third party agents, those will prevail.
