Log in to the Zoom room, there is a meeting point of Mt Fuji tour. Begin with a greeting and every participant’s self-introduction, we became a “Team” to Climb together.
Overview
Take a bus toward Mt Fuji 5th station. On the way, I’ll explain the concept of the virtual tour, our passion & mission, and how to fully enjoy this virtual tour, etc.
After arriving at the 5th station, we share the screen of Mt Fuji photos which we took in these 2 years. I also show you this year’s special 5th station photos and explain real present Mt Fuji.
On the first day, we climb from the 5th station to the 8th station for 4 hours (10min=virtual). You’ll see diverse alpine plants and dynamic Mt Fuji views.
Stay over at the Mt hut, then we start night climb heading to the summit. You can experience a hard climb in the dark and an unforgettable view of the gradually brightening sky. Even though this is “Virtual”, when you reach the summit, you’ll be touched and see a marvelous sunrise.
We’ll go crater trekking via the highest point and see another world-like view, which is normally difficult to do. In the end, straight climb down to the 5th station.
Taking advantage of “Virtual”, I’ll show you rare scenes like “Shadow Fuji” and “Snowing summit” and views of different weathers.

What a fantastic and beautiful experience to ‘climb’ the Moutain Fuji with an experienced mountaineering expert and other fun guests. The whole experience is informative and engaging. Time flew by so quickly with its energy and pace. We start by some interactive activities to understand the facts and history behind Fuji. Then we started our ‘two-day’ walking journey and it felt so real with its route, stops, logistics and most importantly, the stunning view we got along the way. Through explicit instructions about food/drink/stops and hiking techniques, beautiful photos taken by professional mountain guides, as well as the thoughtful process facilitated by our guide, I am ready for a real Fuji experience one day!

For those who have never climbed Mt Fuji before, this experience will give you a glimpse of the actual climb, what to expect, where to sleep etc. For me, the virtual climb with Kenji brought back memories of myself climbing Mt Fuji last year! If I could do it again, I would want to join Kenji’s guided hike! From this virtual tour, I can see that Kenji is very passionate about climbing Mt Fuji and bringing his guests to watch sunrise at the summit.
