Comments from the planner
I live my daily life in Gion—working, shopping, and raising my child here. Over time, I’ve discovered that the early morning holds a special atmosphere, very different from the romantic image of Gion at night.
Along the way, we pass by my home, the shop where my wife works, and my child’s school. It’s a walk through the small, everyday places that make this area feel truly local.
Through this tour, I hope you can experience the town’s morning routine and see Gion as locals do.
