Itinerary

Meet your guide

In front of Fuji-san Station

In Osaka, takoyaki is a must-try food. It started here and is loved all over Japan. Your local guide will bring you to a popular stand where you can enjoy these hot octopus balls. At the same time, you can learn about the special takoyaki culture of Osaka.
Sushi is one of the most famous Japanese foods. The Tenma area in Osaka is full of sushi restaurants. Your guide will take you to a local favorite shop where you can enjoy fresh seasonal sushi, such as salmon and medium-fatty tuna that melt in your mouth. If there is a certain fish you want to try, please tell your guide and they can order it for you.
Wagyu yakiniku is very special. A5 beef is so soft that it melts as soon as you eat it. At a local BBQ restaurant, you can taste different cuts like kalbi, harami, ichibo, and tongue. You can also enjoy local beer or highball with the meat. If you like, you can try extra items such as kimchi, yukhoe, or even grilled marshmallows.

After eating and drinking a lot, the best way to finish is ramen. Osaka has many ramen shops, and your guide will choose one based on your taste. There are many kinds such as tonkotsu (pork bone), chicken broth, seafood broth, or dipping noodles called tsukemen. A hot bowl of ramen will be the perfect way to end your food tour.

The tour will finish after ramen. But if you want something sweet, your guide can recommend local sweets or ice cream. If you still want to enjoy the night, your guide can also suggest good bars in the area.

Tour Calendar

NOTE:

*We appreciate your interest in our 2-day/3-day private tours. Please note that advance reservations for these specific tours were open from December 20, 2024, to April 20, 2025, and unfortunately, they are now fully booked for the 2025 summer climbing season.

NOTE:

*Please inquire about tour availability.

*Our popular tours have limited availability and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure your spot, we highly recommend booking before 20th of April 2025 when public reservation begins. After that, it will be much harder to book our climbing tours. Lodge reservations tend to sell out within minutes or hours of opening to the public, making it difficult to secure accommodations and, consequently, a tour spot.

Alternate Destinations & Customization

Please note that this tour focuses on unique, localized experiences, some of which require reservations with local partners (e.g., the weaving studio). Therefore, tour content may be subject to minor changes due to the availability of our local partners or seasonal conditions. We reserve the right to substitute an experience with another equally high-value activity, ensuring the core theme of “Fuji Foothills Immersion” remains intact.

If the Weaving Experience is unavailable, we may visit one of the following equally compelling alternative destinations:

  • Oshi no Ie (Pilgrims’ Guest Houses): Explore a historical house of a Fuji-Kō (Mt. Fuji pilgrimage) guide.
  • Chureito Pagoda: Visit a classic viewpoint for an iconic photo of Mt. Fuji and the pagoda.
  • Aokigahara Jukai Forest Walk: A guided walk through the mysterious lava forest (weather permitting).
  • Mt. Fuji Museum / World Heritage Center: Learn about the mountain’s history and geology.
  • Oshino Hakkai: View the sacred, clear spring ponds fed by Fuji’s melted snow.
  • Mt. Fuji 5th Station: The mountain’s halfway point (may require an additional transportation fee).

Crucial Information for Private Bookings

For private/charter bookings, we are flexible and open to discussing your specific interests. We welcome requests to include or substitute destinations based on the available alternative options listed above.
