We meet you at the meeting point  for a friendly introduction. As your local hosts, we will briefly explain our plan for the morning before we head toward the beautiful riverside.

We will stop by a local convenience store together. If you would like to try specific Japanese snacks or drinks, we are happy to help you find and purchase them to customize your picnic
We guide you along the river, using our local expertise to find the best-blooming trees. Along the way, we share cultural stories about Hanami and help you capture the perfect photos.
We lead you to our recommended picnic spot with mats and a table. We serve you a curated brunch and plenty of drinks, including sake and beer, so you can enjoy Hanami exactly like a local.
Fully enjoy relaxing under full blooming Sakura. We also provide toys for children. Before we conclude, we are happy to share local recommendations to help you navigate your next destination.

I have a deep passion for cherry blossoms. Every spring, I enjoy Hanami at least three times with my family, friends, and colleagues. Since starting this tour, I have shared this beautiful tradition with our guests more than 100 times. I created this experience because I want you to do more than just take photos; I want you to truly immerse yourself in the authentic Japanese way of celebrating spring. Our ‘hidden’ mission is to ‘Save the Sakura Refugees!’. Cherry blossoms are incredibly delicate, with the famous Somei Yoshino variety usually blooming for only 7 to 10 days. We feel it is our calling to guide travelers who might have missed the official peak bloom to special early or late-blooming spots. You never have to worry about the timing when you are with us. Let’s eat, drink, and enjoy the joy of Osaka-style Hanami together! (Kenji)

Typically, the peak bloom in Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo is between March 28 and April 8. However, this varies annually depending on the weather. On our tour, we scout early and late-blooming spots, allowing you to enjoy Hanami from approximately March 15 to April 20. Please note that the meeting point within Osaka city may change to ensure we take you to the best possible location on that day.

We provide a tasty variety of Japanese picnic essentials, including Onigiri (rice balls), sandwiches, and seasonal snacks that we handpick to showcase authentic local flavors. For beverages, we offer a generous selection of drinks for you to sample, including Sake, beer, and whiskey, as well as local coffee, tea, and soft drinks. You can enjoy these drinks while relaxing with us under the cherry blossoms.

No special preparation is necessary; you can simply join us empty-handed. We handle the entire setup for your comfort, providing everything from picnic mats to a small table. If you are traveling with family, we even bring toys to keep your children entertained, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable experience for the whole family. Additionally, if the weather is a bit chilly, we recommend dressing warmly to stay comfortable during our picnic under the cherry blossoms.
If it rains, we will provide a walking tour with umbrellas through beautiful Sakura areas. While we will not hold the outdoor picnic, we will instead host the brunch at a charming local café where you can still enjoy views of the cherry blossoms.
