For our Private Guide Service, transportation costs are paid by the guests separately.
Depending on your budget and travel style, you can choose from the following options:

Public transportation
You can use buses and trains. For a full day of sightseeing, the estimated cost is around 1,500 JPY per person. Public transportation in Japan is surprisingly safe, reliable, and punctual, so this is a comfortable way to get around. Of course, your guide will accompany you and help you navigate smoothly.

Taxis
You can also use taxis during the tour. For a full day of sightseeing, the estimated cost is around 5,000–10,000 JPY. This can help save some travel time and reduce the amount of walking. Your guide will arrange taxis for your comfortable day.

Private car
A chartered car can also be arranged. For a full day of sightseeing, the estimated cost is around 50,000-80,000 JPY. Advance arrangement is required, so please let us know ahead of time.

Yes, children are welcome to join our Private Guide Service. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or older.

We will adjust the pace to suit your family and help you create wonderful memories together.

Yes, your guide can meet you at your hotel or even on the train platform at the station. Please let us know your preferred meeting location in advance.
You will be accompanied by a local guide who was born and raised in Japan. The guides assigned to our Private Guide Service are especially experienced and flexible, and are able to adjust the tour to your needs and interests.
Yes, extensions may be possible. If a 4-hour tour is extended, it will be counted as a 6-hour tour.
If a 6-hour tour is extended, it will be counted as an 8-hour tour.
For extensions beyond an 8-hour tour, the additional fee is 5,000 JPY per hour.
Cancellation is free up to 7 days before the tour.
From 6 days before the tour, cancellation fees will apply gradually.

Restaurant reservations and meal costs are not included. Based on your requests in advance, or through discussion with your guide on the day, we will help you find a suitable place to eat. Please pay for meals for you and your guide directly to the restaurant.
We have guided guests to many destinations, including Osaka, Mt. Fuji, Nara, Hiroshima, Himeji Castle, the Kumano Kodo, Tottori, the Kyoto Trail and sake breweries in Fushimi.
We can arrange tours to a wide variety of places depending on your interests, so please feel free to contact us.
