*Our popular tours have limited availability and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure your spot, we highly recommend booking before 20th of April 2025 when public reservation begins. After that, it will be much harder to book our climbing tours. Lodge reservations tend to sell out within minutes or hours of opening to the public, making it difficult to secure accommodations and, consequently, a tour spot.

Meet your guide: In front of Fujisan Station

Meet your guide in front of the large red torii gate at Mt. Fuji Station.

We will explore the lava tree molds formed by Mt. Fuji’s eruptions. We will also stop by the adjacent Kawaguchiko Field Center to see models of animals inhabiting Mt. Fuji’s forests and observe rare lava formations.

Enjoy a hearty bowl of Yoshida udon, a local specialty beloved in the foothills of Mt. Fuji.

Stroll Oshimachi area, a traditional post town of Mount Fuji pilgrimage through Fuji Michi, also known as “Honcho Street”.

Explore a local textile company, “Hikari Orimono,” and try your hand at traditional weaving.

We visit the historic site where lava from Mount Fuji flowed through the city.

Walk down Honcho Street at a relaxed pace, stopping by local shops ranging from vintage stores to stylish boutiques. Continue on to the Nishiura district, a charming area filled with nostalgic streetscapes that reflect the rich textile heritage that once brought prosperity to Fujiyoshida.

Enjoy Mt. Fuji forest’s wild Kuro-moji herbal tea and seasonal sweets.

The tour will finish after the coffee shop. But if you want something more, your guide can recommend local spots or activities. If you still want to enjoy the night, your guide can also suggest good bars in the area.

  • 10:00–11:00  Funatsu Lava Tree Molds & Field Center Visit
  • 11:30–12:30  Lunch: Yoshida Udon
    Enjoy a hearty bowl of Yoshida udon, a local specialty beloved in the foothills of Mt. Fuji.
  • 12:30–12:50  Stroll Oshimachi area through Fuji Michi, also known as “Honcho Street”.
  • 13:00–14:00  Visit a Traditional Weaving Studio & Textile Workshop
    Explore a historic textile studio and try your hand at traditional weaving.
  • 14:15–14:45 Get a stamp in your original goshuin book at Omuro Sengen Shrine.
  • 14:45–15:30  Stroll through Shimoyoshida area.
    Walk down Honcho Street at a relaxed pace, stopping by local shops ranging from vintage stores to stylish boutiques. Continue on to the Nishiura district, a charming area filled with nostalgic streetscapes that reflect the rich textile heritage that once brought prosperity to Fujiyoshida.
