This tour includes lodging, round-trip transportation from Kawaguchiko station to the 5th station, meals, and guides.

- OPTION: Additional rental gears at our affiliated shop “La Mont”

- Guests are responsible for additional expenses such as tips for toilets, extra food and beverages, and shopping items.
- In case of an accident, there is a rescue vehicle charge (approximately 40,000 JPY), but note that most travel insurances typically provide coverage for this.
- We strongly recommend that you obtain personal accident insurance for your own protection.

This meeting allows you to get to know your guide in advance and provides a sense of security, as the guide who conducts the meeting will generally accompany you on the climb.

Meet the guide at Kawaguchiko Station
Please ensure you arrive at Kawaguchiko Station by 9:30 AM. It takes 2 hours by train from Tokyo (or 3h by bus). Your guide will be waiting for you at the station to assist with handling your luggage, and your journey will start from this point.
*Meeting at Mt.Fuji station or your hotel in the vicinity is also available.

Meet the guide at Kawaguchiko Station
Please arrive at Subaru Line 5th Station by around 11:00 on Day 1. It is recommended to depart from Tokyo in the morning or from the Fujiyoshida/Kawaguchiko area at around 9:30 in the morning. At the 5th Station, let’s have an early lunch and get used to the high altitude and thin air. If there are any missing equipment, you can rent or purchase them here.

Check Equipments
We’ll arrange a chartered taxi to take you to La Mont, a gear rental shop. Your guide will help you check your gear, and if needed, you can rent any necessary items on your expense. The complimentary rental gear set for child will be picked up here.

Visit Mt.Fuji Shrine
The Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine was founded before the 2nd century and has remained one of the most significant locations for Mount Fuji worship and artistic expression.
Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine
Walk around the shrine and visit “tozan mon” ( spiritual gate for Mt.Fuji ).
Visiting this shrine adds a meaningful aspect to your mountain trip, making it more of a pilgrimage than just a recreational hike.

Taishikan is a spacious mountain lodge situated at the 8th Station, accommodating up to 200 people at an altitude of 3,100 meters. With a history spanning over 200 years, it has been a welcoming haven for climbers. Here you can savour a delightful dinner of curry rice and soak in the beauty of the sunset. Since the next day’s journey begins early, it’s advisable to rest and sleep by around 7:00 PM. Sleeping bags and sanitary sheets will be provided.
*Please note that we may also utilize other lodges at the 8th station for accommodation.
*Not only the private rooms, but also shared rooms may also be available at times.

To take a good rest and avoid crowds, the departure is scheduled after the peak of the climbers. You can enjoy Tokyo’s night view and starry sky if you go outside. The temperature is below 10℃(50℉), and you will start with a headlight on. It takes about 4 hours from here to the summit.

Sunrise
In the standard itinerary of TEAM JIN, you will see the sunrise around the 8th Station (3400m). You can slowly enjoy the sunrise rising from the horizon without the crowds of climbers that you often hear on Mt. Fuji.
You have the option to experience the summit and sunrise, as well as staying at the lodge and witnessing the sunrise. Your guide will provide guidance based on factors such as trail congestion and weather conditions.

Arrival at the summit of Mount Fuji
Congratulations on reaching the summit via the Yoshida route! After taking a commemorative photo, let’s eat something warm at the mountain-top restaurant, visit the shrine, and check out the souvenirs. We will also take you to the observation deck of the crater.
If the weather is good, you can also enjoy the “Ohachi-meguri” (crater trek) course. You can decide on the day whether to take this route or not. It takes about two hours to walk around the crater at the summit and visit “Kengamine,” the highest point in Japan: advanced course.

Arrival at the summit of Mount Fuji

Depending on the weather, you may be able to see a sea of clouds and enjoy the view of walking above the clouds. We will take breaks at key points during the descent and stretch to avoid hurting your knees.

From the 5th station, we’ll take the faster way ( Taxi or Bus ) to get back to Kawaguchiko station. And this is the end of the tour.
